Master Ideographs Seeker Modifications: Codes and Glyphs

To align with the new CNS 11643 Plane 10 standard announced by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI), and with the Unicode 18.0 code points that have T-Source glyphs, we will add, revise, and close glyphs and change code points in the Master Ideographs Seeker, as follows:

  1. Added two TTF font files, TW-Sung-Ext-G.ttf and TW-Kai-Ext-G.ttf, mapped to Unicode Plane 3.
  2. Added 25 CNS 11643 code positions, please refer to pdf file for detailed information.
  3. Closed 7 CNS 11643 code positions, please refer to pdf file for detailed information.
  4. Updated 1,617 CNS 11643 and Unicode correspondence mappings, please refer to pdf file for detailed information.
  5. Modified 940 Sung glyphs, please refer to pdf file for detailed information.
  6. Modified 2,101 Kai glyphs, please refer to pdf file for detailed information.
